Kathryn M. Buck, 86, longtime resident of Iowa City, died at her home on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021.

Kathryn Mae Kintz was born Aug. 3,
1935, the daughter of Harry and Genevieve (Wells) Kintz. She married Norman C. Buck on March 3, 1951, in West Branch. The couple has lived in this area since their marriage. Kathryn worked for several companies throughout her working career including, HyVee, United Technologies, Victor Metals and Proctor & Gamble. She enjoyed camping trips with her family, fishing, the outdoors, occasional visits to the casino and the last number of years her Fridays with her daughter and son.
Her family includes her two children, Deborah Meverden (Erik) and Norman Buck Jr. "Butch"; stepchildren, Jessica Zmolek and Nick Dean (Govanna); eight grandchildren, Gary Stout, Michael Klinzman, Daniel Klinzman, Jessie Klinzman, Joseph Klinzman, Joshua Klinzman, Christopher Buck and Samantha Buck; three great-grandchildren, Molly Klinzman, Colt Klinzman and Evan Klinzman; one great-great-granddaughter, Rain; and siblings, Carol Carney, Dorothy Rude, Suzie Kintz, Steve Klintz, Bud Klintz and Dave Klintz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Terry.
