Kathryn "Katie" Rose Miller, 56, passed away March 25, 2021, at her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Katie was born April 20, 1964, in Marengo, Iowa. She was the ninth child of Willis and JoAnn Miller of Victor, Iowa.
Katie is survived by her children, Carrie (Anthony) Sterrett and Ryan Cleveland; and two grandchildren, Sydney and Jody Dietze. Surviving siblings include, Jane Rupp, David (Kathy) Miller, Julie (Larry) Grier, Mary Jo (John) Patten, Mike (Lori) Miller, Jeff Miller, Randy (Marilyn) Miller, Lori (Steve) Slaymaker and Tim Miller. Katie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a special significant other, Terry Schmucker.
Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and JoAnn Miller; and grandparents, John and Mildred Wentland and Ted and Daisy Miller.
Katie attended HLV Community Schools in Victor, Iowa. She was a lover of nature, flowers and birds (just like her Mom). She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed family get-togethers.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family requests you plant flowers or a tree in Katie's memory. A funeral Mass with be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church. A luncheon will follow in the church basement to celebrate Katie's life.
