Kathleen Kester, 91, of Marshalltown, formerly of Victor and Brooklyn, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Grandview Heights in Marshalltown. Graveside funeral services will be held at
1 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the Calvary Cemetery, Victor. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home, Marshalltown.
Survivors include her son, Tom (Kathryn) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter, Anita (Bruce) Levis of Marshalltown; daughter-in-law, Nancy Wauters of Cedar Rapids; and grandchildren, Kim Wauters, Kyle Wauters and Ryan Levis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wauters in 1957; parents, Wallace and Luly Edelen; brothers, Charlie and Keith Edelen; son, Pat Wauters; and former husband, Gib Kester.
