Kathleen M. "Kathy" Nagel, of Amana, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Springs of Life Church in Cedar Rapids. Pastor Lynn Furrow will officiate. Iowa Cremation is
in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Larry; a daughter, Cassandra (John) Stephens of Cedar Rapids; a stepson, John Nagel and his former wife, Monica, of Wasilla, Alaska; and a brother, David Wright of Newton, Kan. She also is survived by one grandson, Kennen; and her two granddaughters, Hannah and Holland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kimberly Wright.
Kathy was born Sept. 16, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Duane Wright and Sandra O'Neal. She graduated from Kennedy High School in 1975 and married Larry J. Nagel on July 24, 2004, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Kathy enjoyed crocheting, crafts, riding her motorcycle, camping, and especially the time spent with her beloved family and many friends. She will be forever remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
