Katheryn "Kat" Fults, 78,
of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, at Crestview Acres, Marion. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery, Coggon.
Kat is survived by her husband, Edward M. Fults of Cedar Rapids; children, Robert (Susan) Fults of Cedar Rapids and Christine Fults of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Joseph Fults, John Fults and Amanda Campbell; nine great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Charlene Fults; and her beloved poodle, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene (Stoner) Willoughby; and a son, Steven W. Fults.
Kat was born April 7, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Arlene Stoner. She went to high school in Newton, Iowa. She married Edward Fults in Newton on Nov. 12, 1955. Kat was a homemaker who loved to do crafts. She was an expert teddy bear maker, and her roses in her flower garden proved she had a green thumb.
Kat was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be missed by many.
