KATHALEEN A. LEEPER

Kathaleen "Kathy" A. Leeper, 70, of Cedar Rapids, joined our Heavenly Father on April 24, 2017, passing on due to a heart condition.
She is survived by a sister, Jacklyn Skeel (Cedar Rapids); daughters, Angelia Khial (Sandy, Utah) and Pamela Karanova (Lexington, Ky.); and grandchildren, Keila, Damia, Damond and Paisley.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Paula Miller.
She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, then went on to achieve her R.N. degree at Kirkwood Community College. She worked primarily as a hospice nurse and assisted living manager.
Kathy loved to teach and most enjoyed reading, socializing and spending time with her grandchildren. Her loving example will not be forgotten.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
