Karr, Barbara A.
Barbara A. Karr, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. The Rev. Raven Cross will officiate.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; her children, Robert (Elizabeth) Wullner of Cedar Rapids, Terri Wullner (Kevin Schissel) of Martelle, Michael Wullner and Douglas (Donna) Wullner, both of Cedar Rapids, and Laure (Beau) Smith of Texas; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Terry (Sheila) Varner of Cedar Rapids, Nancy Bockman of Milford, Iowa, Rick Varner of Tennessee and Ron Varner and Bob Varner, both of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Barb was born Sept, 4, 1943, the daughter of Clarence and Maxine (Wilson) Varner, in Iowa City, Iowa. She married Ronald Karr on March 15, 1991. Barb was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She touched many lives in many different ways and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Barb.
