Karen Pierce, 57, of Cedar Rapids, died Nov. 18, 2014. Celebration of life will be at a later date.
Karen was born Nov. 17, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Lyle and Betty (Uchytil) Crouse. She married Calvin Allen Pierce Sr. on July 12, 1990, in Cedar Rapids.
Karen enjoyed playing the lottery, doing crosswords, reading, dancing with her grandkids, being with friends and family, and loved being outdoors drinking ice cold tea or a beer.
Karen is survived by her husband, Calvin Pierce; her children, Tonia (Damien), Tasha (Doug) and Calvin Allen Jr. (Kendra) all of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Kayles, Hannah Dalton, Lillie, Jenna and one due in June 2015; one brother, Randy (Rhonda) Crouse of Cedar Rapids; and special friend, Scott Kelsey.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and twin sister, Sharon Crouse.
Karen had a great sense of humor.
She will be deeply missed and always in our hearts and memories. We all loved her very much.
