Karen A. Armstrong Phelps, 71, passed away June 5, 2014, at White Water Hospital, Batesville, Ark., from pancreatic cancer. Karen was cremated; there will be a service at a later date.
Born Dec. 13, 1942, she went to Harrison, Roosevelt and Jefferson schools in Cedar Rapids. She worked at Owen Brush, Square D and was an over-the-road semi truck driver.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; daughters, Cindy and Dena; and sev-eral grandchildren.
Karen was greeted at all Rainbow Bridges.
