Karen “Baby Girl” Jones, 69, of Richland, Miss., died Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Miss. Family and friends will gather for a Celebration her Life at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, Miss.
Survivors include her brother, Ronald Jones of Clinton, S.C., and sister-in-law, Ethel Turner of Richland, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Odella Jones; and brothers, Thomas Jones Jr, Timmy Jones and Michael Jones.
Karen “Baby Girl” was born on Dec. 6, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Thomas and Odella Jones. She was raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, only living in Richland, Miss., for a short time. She enjoyed traveling, going out to eat, watching movies, playing bingo, and music. Most of all, she loved the Lord and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
