Karen Ann Kerslake, 72, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021. A visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 3, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Valley Bible Church. Interment will follow at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Karen was born on Oct. 20, 1949, to Roy and Effie (Reed) Neal in Leon, Iowa. Karen married the love of her life, Craig Kerslake, on Feb. 12, 1970, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Left to cherish Karen's memory are her husband, Craig of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; children, Brian (Tina), David (Miriam) and Richard (Silvia); grandchildren, Jonathan (Sarah), Joshua (Mikaela), Ashley, Sebastian, Emilia and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Sophie; and seven siblings.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 10 siblings; and one grandchild, Michael.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Karen's honor.
