Karen Ann Hospodarsky, 83, of Robins, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Emery Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in Robins, due to Alzheimer's. Private burial was held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Karen was born on Dec. 6, 1938, in Hinsdale, Ill., the daughter of Edward D. and Anne Louise (Lana) Hospodarsky. She graduated from Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids. Karen worked in Cedar Rapids and enjoyed volunteering at St. Luke's Hospital and The National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library.
Karen is survived by her four cousins, Quinn (Kacy) Novak of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Leni Lee (Kerry) Murphy; Bonnie Anderson and Perry (Louise) Abbott of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her aunts, Caroline, Irene, Lillian and Eleanor; cousins, J.D. Larkin, Gary Larkin and Wayne Edington; and a step-uncle, John Vavra.
