Kaplan, James Joseph
UPDATE - Services and visitation have been postponed due to the death of his wife.
James Joseph Kaplan, 72, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at his home. Arrangements are with Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Bev Glotfelty (Bruce Gapster) of Marengo, Judy (Nick) Simmons of Victor, and Peggy (Gary) Carleton of Cedar Rapids; sons, Ken (Sarah) Kaplan of Victor and Jim (Wendy) Kaplan of Marengo; sister-in-law, Deb (John) Sheda of Independence; brother-in-law, Jerry Veit of Chelsea; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
