Kamery, Rhonda S. Hild

Rhonda S. Hild Kamery, 56, of 1605 27th Ave., Marion, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, of cancer. Private family services will be held at a later date in Kearney, Neb. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.

Survivors include three sons, Bill, Jason and Sean of Marion; her mother, Delores Hild of Kearney; four brothers; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jake Hild.

Rhonda was born Jan. 23, 1955, in Kearney, Neb., the daughter of Jake and Delores (Wiemers) Hild. Rhonda was a 1973 graduate of Elm Creek High School in Nebraska. Rhonda graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with her BA degree. Years later, she earned her Masters of Philosophy from the University of Iowa. She married William Kamery, whom she raised three sons with, and they later divorced. For the last several years, Rhonda was employed at H&R Block in Anamosa as a tax professional, where she formed strong relationships with her clients, which she valued highly. She was a very active volunteer, including 4-H, Linn-Mar Music Program and Linn-Mar School District. Rhonda also was very giving to many charities and organizations.
