Kalous, Betty A.
Betty A. Kalous, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before services Thursday at Brosh Chapel.
Betty was born on Oct. 19, 1925, in rural Fairfax, the daughter of William and Georgia (Kubik) Kvetensky Sr. She married Leo Kalous on June 2, 1951, in Cedar Rapids. Betty was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Betty is survived by her brother, William (Adele) Kvetensky of Marion; nephew, James “Jim” Kvetensky of Marion; great-niece, Kristin; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
