Kaleb Daniel Wilcox, 27, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. A private Memorial Service will be held at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. Inurnment will follow in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids.
Following the continued guidance from health officials, physical distancing must be practiced, which requires a limited number of people allowed into the visitation at one time. The use of face masks or shields is required.
Kaleb was born on February 22, 1994, the son of Scott Wilcox and Karen (Langrehr) Peters. He worked as a roofer for Division 7. Kaleb enjoyed working on cars, four-wheeling, and mudding in his Jeep. He also liked to sing. Most of all, he loved kids and his pets.
Survivors include his son, Carter Wilcox of Cedar Rapids; mother, Karen (Phillip) Peters of Cedar Rapids; father, Scott (Patricia) Wilcox of Cedar Rapids; grandmothers, Judie Walton of Cedar Rapids and Patricia Langrehr of Camanche; grandfather, Bud Wilcox of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Michael Peters of West Des Moines, Daniel (Jasmine) Peters of West Des Moines, Matthew Peters of West Des Moines, Catherine (Briar) VanDraska of Ely, Steven (Sierra) Wingo of Knoxville, Tenn., Ashley (Jeremy Johnson) Funk of Reinbeck and Amelia Wingo of Cedar Rapids; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death were grandfathers, Leroy Langrehr and Al Walton.
