Kacer, Frances Helen
Frances Helen Kacer, 95, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Carrington Place of Toledo, under the care of Hospice Compassus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Father Michael Mescher as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with a vigil service and rosary at 7 p.m.
Survivors include her daughter, Maxine (Russell) Upah of Belle Plaine; a son-in-law, Bernard (Mary) Svoboda of Clutier; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Elsie Gates of Aztec, N.M.; a sister-in-law, Sylvia Nekola of Tama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles; daughter, Irene Svoboda; brother, Leonard Nechanicky; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Gates.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Carrington Place staff for their loving care.
