Tama
June M. (Chmelik) Feisel, 89, of Tama, died Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Lodge in Chariton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, at 11 a.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama, with Pastor Dennis St. Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.
Survivors include one son, David (Avon) Feisel of Chariton; seven grandchildren, Lanny (Melissa) Feisel, Shannon Feisel, Tyler Feisel, Stefanie Glover, Karen Fitzgerald, Kellie Abrahamson and Brandy Zhorne; 14 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Lavon Shellenberger of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Don (Dot) Chmelik of Tama; several nieces and nephews; a daughter-in-law, Kay Feisel of Tama; two brothers- and sisters-in-law, Lyle and Dorothy Feisel of Maryland and Gordon and Ruth Scott of Cedar Rapids; and a sister-in-law, Rose Feisel of Toledo. Also surviving is Sharon (Michael) Niewahner, mother of Lanny and Shannon Feisel.
