June E. “Tinker” Dunham Warren, 77, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away at home on Jan. 11, 2023, with her husband by her side. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life: 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the funeral home. A livestream of the Celebration of Life may be accessed on the funeral home website tribute page for June, under photos and videos, starting at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19.
June was born May 28, 1945, to June E. Fernandez. June was later adopted by Raymond Jack Dunham. June was a 1963 graduate of Jefferson High School. She had a daughter, Lisa, with first husband Steven. They later divorced and she married the love of her life, Robert L. “Bob” Warren Sr., on Feb. 14, 1970. Bob and June raised their children, Bobby and Lisa until 1978 when they welcomed their daughter, Angela, into the world. June was employed by Collins Radio, Turner Communications, Norand and Pioneer Seed Sorting.
June is survived by her husband, Robert L. Warren Sr. of Cedar Rapids; children, Lisa (Linn) Blaha Harbit of North Liberty, Robert L. (Rose) Warren Jr. of Shawano, Wis., and Angela (Jason) Roorda of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Art (Penny) Dunham of Marion, John (Patty) Dunham of Cedar Rapids, Gary (Viki) Dunham of Walford, Cathy Burgess of Cedar Rapids, Priscilla Stamp of Loveland, Colo., and Robert Barker of Lynchburg, Tenn.; many nieces and nephews; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.
June was preceded in death by her parents, June (John) Willamon and Raymond J. Dunham; and brother, Wesley Fernandez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to family or mailed to Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. The memorials will be divided and a donation will be made in June’s name to Compassus Hospice Foundation and Last Hope Animal Rescue.
