Julia A. Klaren, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018.
A public graveside will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; son, Derek Alan Klaren of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Elizabeth Marie Klaren of Cedar Rapids; sister, Lucia Gage of Center Point; brother, David Gage of Las Vegas. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Allen and Ronald Gage; a nephew, Shane; and niece, Cindy.
Julia Ann Klaren was born Nov. 5, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Roy Kessler and Audrey Gage. On Jan. 7, 1984, she married Thomas H. Klaren in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Julia was an over-achiever and always did very well everywhere she worked over the years, which included Nordstrom and TransAmerica. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
