JULEE LYNN (WOODWARD) TAYLOR

Julee Lynn (Woodward) Taylor, 62, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Dennis & Donna Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. A parish vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, followed by a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion, with an additional visitation an hour prior to service. Father David O'Connor will officiate. Burial will follow service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Prairieburg, Iowa.
Julee was born on Jan. 16, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Richard Lee and Betty Beatrice (Holub) Woodward. She graduated from Marion High School in Marion. Julee was united in marriage to Kevin Kenneth Taylor on Aug. 24, 1979, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion. To this union two children were born, Joshua and Jared. Julee was a stay-at-home mom and ran her own in-home daycare. She especially loved taking care of babies. Julee loved her two boys and also caring for her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Julee is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Kevin Taylor of Marion; two sons, Joshua Kenneth (Amber) Taylor of Marion and Jared Michael (Libby) Taylor, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and five grandchildren, Colton, Case, Cash, Terrell and Katalina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee and Betty Beatrice Woodward; and sister, Kathy Rae Woodward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Julee's memory may be directed to the family.
Julee's family would like to extend a special thank-you to Amy, Rick, Craig, Linda, Erin P., Mercy Hospice and Craig, for the great relationships and care given to Julee.
