Judy Kay Weber, 76, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, in her home. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St., SW. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Judy was born Jan. 8, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Dale E. and Geraldine L. (Stark) Douglas. She graduated from LaSalle High School, class of 1964. Judy was united in marriage to Marvin Weber on Jan. 9, 1965, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church. She had several jobs over the years but spent most of her life raising her family. Judy was active in her church, where she was a Eucharistic minister for many years. She enjoyed babysitting, assisting in the Memory Photo business, spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband, Marvin; her children, Lisa Matias, Tony (Donna Gannon) Weber and Karen (Stuart) Farmer; five grandchildren, Amanda (Nathan), Brittany (Jacob), Destyn (Katie), Shaelyn and Evan; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Francis (Janet) Douglas; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Geraldine; and her son-in-law, Mark Matias.
