Judith Ann Siepker, 73, of Marion, died at home on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marion. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, with a vigil service beginning at 7 p.m. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Kristen) Siepker of Troy, Mich., and Christina (Terry) Best of Iowa City; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Samuel Siepker and Lindsay and Leah Best; and siblings, Mary (Ron) Wink of Anamosa, Sharon (Larry) Ditch of Bertram and Robert (Karen) Wennekamp of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leonard.
Judith was born on July 26, 1941, in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of John and Augusta (Martensen) Wennekamp. On April 17, 1963, she married Leonard John Siepker at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion. Judith worked as a Real Estate closing agent for Century 21 for many years. She loved her grandchildren and attending all of their activities as well as day trips with friends and family. She was an avid reader, card player and enjoyed trivia and Jeopardy. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic School, Marion.
