Judith Rose Ryan, 75, of Muscatine, formerly of Tipton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Tipton.
Memorials in honor of Judy should be directed to Iowa City Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.

Judy was born March 27, 1940, in Fennimore, Wis., daughter of William and Virginia (Fry) Collins. She graduated from Fennimore High School in 1958 and attended Southwest Wisconsin Technical College for two years. Judy was united in marriage to Thomas L. Ryan on Feb. 20, 1960. She was employed as an administrative secretary for several insurance companies and banks until her retirement.
Judy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Fennimore, Wis., and enjoyed volunteering for church groups, gardening and sewing, and adored her beloved cat, Molly.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Sara (Dean) Jedlicka of Iowa City; sons, C.J. (Sue) Ryan of Muscatine, Frank Ryan of Los Angeles and Nick (Jill) Ryan of Waukee; four grandchildren, Scott Jedlicka, Andrew Jedlicka, Caitlin Ryan and Will Ryan; a great-grandchild, Ryan Taylor; sisters, Arlene Beien, Paris Savage, Wendy Hofstetter, Anita Grove and Connie Plenke; and brothers, William, Richard, Floyd and Tom Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia (Fry) Collins; husband, Thomas Ryan; and sisters, Betty Daugharthy and Irene Morris.
