Judith K. Stoddard, 77, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at her home. The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday conducted by Pastor Brody Tubaugh. Burial will take place at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
Judith was born on July 29, 1943, in Michigan, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Etcel) Odean. She graduated from Marion High School. Judith spent many good years as a truck driver for the San Diego Wild Animal Park. She also drove semi for Leonard's Trucking, CRST, and M & M Express. Judith loved to go country dancing and enjoyed many trips to Branson. She also loved going to Meskawki Casino.
She is survived by her fiance, George of rural Belle Plaine; children, Timy David Stoddard of Marion, Tom Stoddard and Tina Stoddard, both of Ocean Shores, Wash.; grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Bartlett, Scout Bartlett, and Davis and Chase Stoddard; great-granddaughter, Sabrina; sister, Linda (Dave) Cook of Beach, N.D.; brothers, Carl Odean of Van Cleve, Miss., and Brian Odean of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Davis Lynn Stoddard; brother, Alan Odean; and sister, Cheryl Gaso.
