Judith Marie "Judy" Swartzendruber, 78, died peacefully Friday, May 27, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A family committal service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.
Judy was born Nov. 14, 1943, in Grand Rapids, Mich., the daughter of Ira and Adeline (Sonju) Brooks. On Feb. 10, 1964, Judy married Ronald Swartzendruber in Kirksville, Mo.
Judy is survived by her two children, Michael Swartzendruber of Roseville, Calif., and Cindy Tomas (Todd Zeman) of Lone Tree; grandchildren, Jacob, Alyssa (fiancee, Dajon) and Adrayene; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and D'Andre; her sister, brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous extended family.
