Judith K. Daniels, 82, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Judith was born Jan. 6, 1939, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Norman R. Sr. and Christine L. (King) Davis. She graduated from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. Judith had worked as a civil rights investigator in Topeka, Kan., and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include her children, Stacey Daniels of Kansas City, Mo., David Love of Wichita, Kan., Karen Weatherspoon of Tampa, Fka., William Love of Wichita, Kan., and Robert Love of Lawrence, Kan.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Richard A. Daniels; and brother, Robert Norman Davis Jr.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the African American Museum of Iowa, 55 12th Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401.
