Judith Crow, 75, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015. She was born Judith Arlene Day on Nov. 6, 1940, in Waterloo, the daughter of Harold and Esther Fogle Day. She married Richard Crow on Nov. 5, 1960, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 2004.
Judy graduated from East High School in 1958 and was a homemaker. She and Richard served as foster parents for 36 years, caring for dozens of children, mainly newborn babies.
Judy is survived by two sons, Stephen and his wife, Kathy, of North Liberty and Matthew and his wife, Jennifer, of Dubuque; four grandchildren, Eric and Elizabeth Crow of North Liberty and Ben and Andrew Crow of Dubuque; and a brother, John Day and his wife, Bev, of Waterloo.
Judy was preceded in death by a son, Mark.
A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, at a later time. Memorials may be sent to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
