Judith Ann Kimm, 82, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be held Monday, April 21, 2025, 11:00 am at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the Chapel prior to the service. A livestream of the funeral service may be accessed on the funeral home website under the obituary for Judith Kimm, under the video tab starting at 11:00 am on April 21, 2025.
Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Dennis Kimm, of Cedar Rapids, son, Mark (Cynthia) Kimm, of Westminster, Colorado, brother, David Vaughn, of Westminster, Colorado, and aunt, Mildred Vaughn, of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunt, Leona Kenner, and uncle, Russell Vaughn.
Judith Ann (Vaughn) Kimm was born April 29, 1942, to Ray and Bernice Vaughn in Clinton, Iowa. She graduated from Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, and continued her education at Northeast Missouri State. She married Dennis Kimm on May 18, 1963, in Cedar Rapids. Judith worked at Killian’s for eight years, and Coolidge Elementary School for 27 years as a teacher’s aide. She was full of love and joy that she shared with everyone she encountered. Judy will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
