Judith Ann Anderson, 69, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Solon Care Center. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Judith was born June 19, 1944, to Earl and Mary
(Volk) Anderson in Iowa City, Iowa. She graduated from Regina High School in Iowa City, then went on to attend college in California, where she earned a stationary engineer degree.
Judith worked in Cali-fornia for many years until her retirement, when she moved back to Iowa and worked as a technician at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Judith was a long term member of Stationary Engineers Local 39, FOE Eagles Auxiliary 695 and Women of the Moose.
Judith is survived by her brother, Earl (Karen) Anderson of Platteville, Wis.; and sisters, Barbara (Derrell) Dempster of Ely and Virginia O'Dell of North Lib-erty. Judith will be missed greatly by her loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and her loving poodle, Lucy.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Connie Broulik and Lorna Jane Anderson; and brother, William Anderson,
A memorial fund will be established in Judith's name.
