Judith A. Thomsen, 81, of Marion, went to her Heavenly Home on Friday July 29, 2022. Services: 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, where a visitation will begin at 2 p.m. until service time. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A light luncheon will be held at the Cedar Memorial Family Center & Library following the graveside service.
Survivors include her four sons, Dale (Alicia) Thomsen, Perry (Brenda) Thomsen, Douglas (Pam) Thomsen and Kenneth (Connie) Thomsen; her grandchildren, Miranda (Jason) Coad, Nicole (Shawn) Witham, Eric (Rebecca) Thomsen, Shayna (Trever) Brent, Brandi (Nicholas) Marshall, Brad Thomsen and Zach Thomsen; great-grandchildren, Bryce Marshall, Mikayla Flockhart, Jayden Rasmussen, Joshua Coad, Justin Coad, Hayden Thomsen, Paisley Marshall, Luxana Witham and Ryleigh Thomsen; her sisters, Pauline (Richard) Boots and Yvonne Kasey; and several nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon in 2004; two brothers, Arlass Kasey Jr. and Elmer Kasey; and a grandson, Ray Thomsen.
Judith Alenette Thomsen was born on Aug. 12, 1940, the daughter of Arlass and Mary (Phillips) Kasey. She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, making mints, cookies and peanut butter fudge. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and the casino. On Dec. 31, 1955, she married Gordon Dale Thomsen. She worked as a cook for several care centers and taking people to their appointments. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
