Judd Decker, 77, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in Houston, Texas. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 7,
at St. Pat-rick's Cath-olic Church in Winthrop. Burial: St. Patrick's Cemetery, Winthrop. Friends may call at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop on Sunday, July 6, from 1 until 5 p.m., with a Scripture service to follow at 5 p.m., and until 10 a.m. Monday.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Independence; seven sons, Douglas (Elizabeth) and Michael (Peggy) of Independence, Patrick (Stephanie) and Kyle (Susan) of Cedar Rapids, Brian (Julie) of Iowa City, Trent (Maria Ines) of McKinney, Texas, and Troy (Marisol) of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Tricia (Chad) Beatty of Independence and Jill (Travis) Carlson of Cedar Rapids; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Decker of Manchester, Roger (Mary Jo) Decker and Craig (Linda) Decker, both of Winthrop; and six sisters, Katha Williams of Waterloo, Judy (Larry) Hayes and Dawn Decker, both of Ankeny, Diane (Kyle) Schuler and Brenda (Don) Beirerschmitt of Jesup and Cheryl Decker of Winthrop.
