Joyce Wedo, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospice.
She was born Sept. 1, 1937, to George and Helen Ward Bevins in Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by a son, Michael; three grandkids, Annie, Alex and Zach; a great-grandchild, Warren; and two brothers, Richard of Mission, Texas, and Jack of Loveland, Colo.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Francis; and two sisters, Mary Novak and Betty Curtis.
Joyce loved people and people loved her.
She was a graduate of St. Patrick's, Class of 1955.
She will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Deacon Phil Saunders will officiate.
