Joyce A. Trimble-Wall, 76, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Center Point, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at
St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, July 7, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at the funeral home. Inurnment: Linwood Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, James A. (Rosemary) Trimble of Simpsonville, S.C., and Debra K. Trimble of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Brandon Trimble of Fort Dodge and Christine (Carl) Otto of Parker, Colo.; twin great-granddaughters on the way; and five brothers.
She was preceded in death by her sister and two brothers.
Joyce was born May 24, 1938, in Center Point, Iowa, daughter of Oral and Leola (Pruett) Heathman. She worked at Hy-Vee for several years before retiring in 2005. She married James Trimble in Waukon, Iowa, on April 24, 1961; he later died Aug. 30, 1995. Joyce later married Alfred Wall; he died in 2005.
Joyce was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading mystery novels. Her greatest love of all was being with her family.
