Joyce Eleanor Serbousek, 89, of Marion, passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at her home. In agreement with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no services held. A private family committal will take place at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.
Surviving are her son, Michael Serbousek and his wife, Judy, of Minturn, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and her husband.
Joyce was born Aug. 7, 1928, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Bartels) Lange, in Scotch Grove, Iowa. She graduated from Monticello High School. Joyce was formerly employed as a clerical worker for the Iowa Department of Transportation. On Nov. 10, 1950, she married Norton Dee Serbousek at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
