Joyce Milroy, 59, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at her home following a yearlong battle with lung cancer. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, at First Presbyterian Church, Monticello, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello.

Surviving are her husband, Richard "Dick"; two sons, Richard Jr. (Keri Childs), Monticello, and Randy (Tracey), Sand Springs; three grandchildren, Richard III, Amanda and Gabrielle; her parents, Francis and Lois Boeding of Hopkinton; and nine siblings, Mary Ann (Gerald) Blanchard, Hopkinton, Doris (Dick) Cambridge, Cedar Rapids, Dan (Karen) Boeding, Cedar Rapids, Dennis (Carolyn) Boeding, Anamosa, Susan (Gerald) Beitz, Monticello, Lori (Darrell) Reyner, Monticello, Don (Kathy) Boeding, Dundee, Vic (Leann) Boeding, Monticello, and Cheri (Mitch) Orcutt, Delhi.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Scott; a daughter-in-law, Corrinna; and her brother, David.
