Joyce May, 69, of Anamosa, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at the Anamosa Care Center.
No services will be held at this time due to the current health pandemic. Burial will be in Olin Cemetery, Olin, Iowa. Goettsch

Joyce Ann Mc Donald was born on Aug. 2, 1951, in Olin, the daughter of John and Mildred (Dane)
Mc Donald. She attended Olin schools and graduated from Olin High School in the Class of 1970. She married Carl Eugene May on Oct. 14, 1978, at the Olin United Methodist Church.
Joyce was a member of the United Congregational Church in Anamosa. She worked as a dishwasher at Cavy's Restaurant, Olin, until she retired and also cared for her parents and their home. She enjoyed word search puzzles.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Carl; a son, Chad May of Pocahontas, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Donna Mc Donald, Carole (Bill) Keegan, Williamsburg, Iowa, and Sean Dianne Lynn May, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Dwayne (Bonnie) May, Cedar Rapids; and by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Mc Donald.
