Joyce Marie Donald, 83, of Marion, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at Northbrook Manor Care Center. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Joyce was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Allerton, Iowa, to John and Marcia (Morgan) Boysal. She graduated from Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School. Joyce was united in marriage to Harley Donald on Aug. 18, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Harley; and four children, Jeff (Lori) of Cedar Rapids, Mike (Leanna) of Kansas City, Kan., Amy (Pat) Hinde of Port Byron, Ill., and Deanne (John) Thiede of Solon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Chelsea, Jordan, Jacob, Alex, Zac, Devin, Jurnie, Marina, Eli and Cael; and her dog, Brandi.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joan.
Joyce was a homemaker. She most enjoyed the time spent with her beloved family and friends. Joyce was a devoted and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
