Joslin, Dorothy F.
Dorothy F. Joslin, 89, of North Liberty, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Brosh Chapel, 2121 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids. Burial will follow at Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
Dorothy was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Oxford Junction. Dorothy loved to read and play bingo and puzzles.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Donald of North Liberty; daughter, Sharyn of Oxford Junction; sister, Delores Miller of Anamosa; grandchildren, Darren and daughter Charlea of Anamosa, Daniel and family of Marion, and Barbi and Mark and children Emily and Ethan of DeWitt; and sister-in-law, Jan of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Barbara; and a son, Leonard.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the hospice workers at home and in the hospital.
