Homestead
Joshua Aaron Cuno, 32, of Homestead, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at his home. Memorial
services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Donna Cuno officiating. There will be no visitation.
A memorial fund has been established.
He is survived by his mother, Pamela Ann Bern and husband Bob of Amana; his father, Jessie Cuno and wife Donna of Tennessee; and his girlfriend, Kristin Ackerman, and her daughter, Jasmine.
Joshua was born Sept. 22, 1982, in Iowa City, Iowa. He graduated from Clear Creek Amana High School in 2001, and attended Hamilton College and Kirkwood Community College. He had worked as a cook at various restaurants in the area.
Josh was interested in the weather. He enjoyed tracking it from his weather station for many years. He also loved working on computers and traveling throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Canada. He also enjoyed cooking.
