Josephine Jean Fox, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Jude Catholic Church by the Rev. Mark Murphy. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday after 9 a.m. at the church. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Jean is survived by her son, Rex; her daughters, Jolene and Luann; three grandchildren, Tina (Rick) Smith, Jeremy Fox and Eva (Abe) Mease; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clem (Shelley) Cerney of Grand Junction, Ill., and William (Carol) Cerny of St. Mary, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira, in 1996; her infant son, Clement; and her sister, Helen Putnam.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
