Joseph L. Crandall, 90, passed away at the Oldorf Hospice House on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
A graveside service will be offered at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery-Garden of the Last Supper on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Ken Koske officiating.
Joseph was born on Aug. 30, 1932 in Lisbon, Iowa. He was the son of the late Frank and Grace (Thorpe) Crandall. On Oct. 30, 1955, he married the love of his life, Marilyn Atcher at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He enjoyed the outdoors, day trips, and especially spending time with his extended family. He was employed at Rockwell Collins for over 31 years working as a machinist.
Those left to cherish Joseph’s memory are his wife Marilyn of Robins, Iowa; his children, Michael Crandall of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Diane (Dean) Drumm of Wheatland, Iowa, and David (Julie) Crandall of Boulder City, Nev.; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Oldorf Hospice House for all the love and support they showed Joseph while he was in their care.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Oldorf Hospice House.
