Joseph Hronik, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center. Per his request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Joseph was born July 6, 1924, the son of Joseph and Gladys (Fatt) Hronik. He married the love of his life, Gail Phillipson, on June 23, 1943. They shared many memories together until her passing in 2008. He was the data processing manager at Kirkwood Community College until he retired.
Left to cherish Joseph's memories are his children, Richard (Naomi Gallmeyer) Hronik and Tom Hronik.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife; his brother, Richard; and his sister, Louise.
