Joseph R. Holl, 88, of Ryan, formerly of Manchester and California, died Tuesday morning, May 19, 2015, at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ryan, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manchester. Military rites will be conducted by the Manchester American Legion. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church. Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1640 Main, Dubuque, is in charge of arrangements.
