Joseph M. "Joe" Guise, 52, of Davenport, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, downtown Davenport, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Burial is in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Delmar, Iowa.
Joe was born Oct. 9, 1962, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of John H. and Joanne (Goodall) Guise. He was united in marriage to Sandra Kilburg May 27, 1989, in Bellevue, Iowa.
He is survived by sons, Jacob of Chicago, Mitchell of Platteville, Wis., and Christopher of Davenport; siblings, Jacqueline (Mike) Crowley of Welton and Jeff Guise of San Diego, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Jim.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or School, Davenport; St. Patricks' Church, Delmar; D.A.C. Inc., Maquoketa; or to ARC of the Quad Cities.
