Joseph Gallery, 81, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Masonville. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Mason-ville. A Scripture service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Fawcett Funeral Home, Winthrop. Visitation time: 2 until 7 p.m. Friday and until 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane of Winthrop; two sons, Daniel (Wendy Harrison) of Winthrop and James (Christie Zeien) of Winthrop; five daughters, Dianne Henderson of Independence, Jane (Barrie) Ernst of Cedar Rapids, JoLayne (Dan "Boone") Kress of Winthrop, Victoria (Brett) Nelson of West Des Moines and Krista (David "Bergy") Bergfeld of Winthrop; 15 grandchildren; two stepgrand-children; 11 great-grand-children; a stepgreat-granddaughter; three brothers, Louie (Faye Ann) of Winthrop, Vince (Lee) of Shafter, Calif., and Mike (Mary) of Masonville; and a sister, Shirley (Loras) Schlichte of Manchester.
