Joseph, Everett Byron
Everett Byron Joseph died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Mercy Iowa City at the age of 99 years. Celebration of Life services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. The Rev. Carl Cloeter will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Williamsburg. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
He is survived by three children, Harold (Karen) Joseph of Williamsburg, Marge (Larry) Shay of Cedar Rapids and Cynthia (David) Fruendt of Iowa City; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anita; a daughter, Rachel Leah; a brother, Harvey Joseph; two sisters, Iva Kennedy and Opal Knock; and a great-grandson.
A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church or Iowa City Hospice.
