JOSEPH CORRIGAN Cedar Rapids Joseph Patrick Corrigan, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died at his home Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church by the Rev. Ivan Nienhaus. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. A vigil service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Teahen Funeral Home where friends may visit with the family from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church. Joe is survived by his son, Ben (Angela) Corrigan of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Brock and Braden; his parents, Richard and Elaine Corrigan of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Janet (Marlan) Poage of Madrid and JoAnn (David) Stewart of Windsor, Colo.; one brother, Dan (Samantha) Corrigan of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews. Joe was born April 7, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Richard and Elaine Kucera Corrigan and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1979. Joe was a true Packers fan and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and playing the guitar. He will be remembered for his heart of gold and always being a friend to each person he met.
