JORDAN MITCHELL MCDONALD Cedar Rapids Jordan Mitchell McDonald, 32, of Cedar Rapids, chose to leave this earth and go to his heavenly home. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom with sharing of memories. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his parents, Patrick (Teresa) McDonald of Central City and Jan (Terry) Bringman of Toddville; his brothers, Joshua (Jen) Dearborn of Springville and Jacob (Sarah) Dearborn of Cedar Rapids; his stepbrothers, Nick (Tanya) Bringman of North English and Chris (Brooke) Bringman of Parnell; his grandparents, James and Barbara Johnson of Robins and Colleen McDonald of Cedar Rapids; Jeannie McDonald; stepchildren, Austin and Lucas; his aunts and uncles, Dawn (Brad) Vircks, Becky (Larry) Mabb, Danny (Mary) Johnson, Jeff (Maria) McDonald, Greg McDonald, Ed (Laura) Klemmer, Susan Fitzgerald and Brandy Martin; his nieces and nephews, Taylor, Madilynn, Isabella, Adryan and Asher; and his cousins, Jennifer Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Thad Washburn and Austin Washburn. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis McDonald; and cousin, Ryan Washburn. Jordan was born March 12, 1985, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Jan and Pat McDonald. He married Jeannie McDonald on Sept. 12, 2015. They later separated. Jordan was a carpenter and painter for DPI in Cedar Rapids. He lived the great outdoor adventure, enjoying fishing, kayaking, camping and hunting. He also loved horses, pool, video games and the greatest of all, spending time with family and friends.
