She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Milo Beltz; and sister, Joyce Cress.
Donna was born Dec. 7, 1936, in rural Alburnett, the daughter of Roy and Mildred (Heiber) Morris Beltz. She graduated from Marion High School in 1955, and married Kenneth Jordan that year. Together, they lived on a farm, and later divorced. Donna went on to work in personal home maintenance service for 28 years, retiring late in the fall of 2012.
Donna, known as “Ma” (or Mom) by many young people over the years, was always ready to lend a helping hand and share her love. Later on, she played piano for a small church she attended, and was very involved with. She also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in her backyard. Donna dearly loved her cats, Punky (1989-2012) and Sugar, who in recent years, joined the family and still resides with her son, Doug.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Donna's memory.
